The never ending dock

It just keeps growing and growing and growing...

A bit of a plug for Shoremaster. If you are looking for a dock that is lite, sturdy, easy to put in and take out, has many options and is easy to reconfigure or add on to, seriously check out Shoremaster. Available at Martin Motor Sports.

Shortly after I took these pictures, another boat hoist was placed beside the pontoon boat with the red covering. I'll try to get a night shot with the solar lights all a glow at some point over the summer.

May Long

It was a cold rainy weekend. We managed to get our small community dock in the water along with a few of the boat hoists. Never did get out in the boat to do any fishing myself. Just too much work that needed to get done so that I may enjoy the rest of the all too short warm season in Alberta.

My Daughter (Yolanda) managed to catch quite a few Northerns and a few Walleye off the main dock at Broken Paddle.

My Daughter (Yolanda) taking my Grandson (Mike 20 months old) fishing for the very first time.

Looking down at Fawcett Lake The view from up top of hill on Monday

Not a ripple to be seen. Of course the weather was nice on Monday. We had to pack up and head home. Never fails!

Who's who?

Just some random pictures of people fishing on Fawcett Lake, Alberta, on Saturday, June 12, 2009. Could it be you? If you care to view the full size image, simply right click on any of the pictures. Warning! They are quite large files.

Yes there is a boat there, way off in the distance.

My Brother with a very respectable walleye. It is still out there for someone else to catch again.

Birch Island and Mother nature provide the perfect frame. Is that a Northern Pike jumping behind the boat?

And a sunset...

North East Bay

If you know Fawcett Lake at all, you will know where this picture was taken, simply by the leaning tree's.
